As we continue in a changing and challenging new phase of post-16 education, the sixth form at Studio@Deyes provides an exciting and varied curriculum as well as stimulating activities outside the class room. If you join our Studio/College, we will help you achieve your potential, in whatever field that might be. The academic performance of our students is excellent. We offer a wide selection of A-Level courses, BTEC’s and Level 2 courses; innovative timetabling enables most students to choose their subject combinations freely, whilst group sizes are kept small enabling our staff to give you their full attention.

Students are supported by teaching and learning of the highest quality, and by the academic and pastoral support of a team of experienced tutors overseen by Mr Delaney who has many years behind him leading the highly successful College@Deyes at Deyes High School, Maghull. However, our Sixth Form experience is about more than academic success. As one of our students said to the DFE Advisor:

“We are encouraged to be well-rounded individuals, not just academically successful, we get super opportunities and an experience in the world of work. This encourages us to work harder and have an insight into what comes next”

Our students are capable of great things, as seen by the way they manage events in the Studio and across the community. They are our best ambassadors. They are keen to learn and study and are well sought after by local employers who offer them work experience that ranges from one day to part time employment. We know that outstanding success comes from more than just hard work and we are aware that at this most exciting time in a young adult’s life, it is important that each individual feels valued and is allowed to thrive and grow. The Studio College/Sixth Form offers an enviable package of excellent facilities, enrichment opportunities and Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance.

We pride ourselves on our culture and ethos. Post 16 education can be exacting and challenging and throughout the two years we provide support, care and guidance and an ‘open door’ policy to ensure that all our students feel looked after whilst also growing and developing as independent young people ready for the next stage in their lives.

At Studio College/Sixth form we value your aspirations for the future and will be fully committed in supporting you on your journey to University, apprenticeship, self-employment or future career

We look forward to welcoming you to study with us or to respond to any questions and enquiries you may have.
