Prince's Trust & Studio@Deyes
Studio@Deyes is pleased to announce that we are working with the Princes Trust to deliver the Mosaic Mentoring programme.
The Mosaic Mentoring Programme provides a package of opportunities to raise the aspirations of young people and close the gap between those aspirations and their attainment.
The programme uses positive role models to improve students’ confidence, self-efficacy and employability. The programme has developed a powerful package of mentoring support for young people that can be tailored to students’ needs which includes group mentoring, workplace visits, inspirational speeches and competitions.

Year of Engineering
A career in engineering is exciting, rewarding and creative. Yet there is a big shortage of young people that think it could be a job for them. Over the course of 2018, the Government want to shake-up people’s ideas about engineering, inspiring the next generation of innovators, inventors and problem solvers by showing them what engineers actually do.
Over the course of 2018 we will be sharing information related to Engineering in the newsletter, on our website and through sessions in school. We have already had a visit from Scottish Power Energy Networks last month who discussed careers in Engineering.
